The house takes its name from an event in 1800 that gave the name to the locality where it is, in Mont, opposite the road leading to the upland of Monte Prat and near Belvedere and Panorama.


The Mont locality is located about 1,5 km from the center of the plateau, halfway up the slope coming up from San Rocco.
